Materials

• All materials may be allocated to a job as they are used
• A complete breakdown of materiuals used is shown on the invoice
• Cost prices can be entered so that profit margins can be analysed.
• A Stock file can be maintained for regularly-used items
• Items can also be entered manually

Sub-Contract Charges

• External contractors can be recorded against the job
• Details of the contractor's invoice can be recorded for analysis of profit margins.

Job Sheet

• All work carried out on clients’ boats can be fully documented at each stage
• Any M3 user can take initial instructions from a client, and set up a Provisional Job.
• can be recorded
• Correspondence, photographs, faxes etc can be linked to the job sheet
• Each job needs to be authorised – by a designated member of the boatyard staff – before it will appear on work schedules
• Each job may be split into several Groups – each with its own full description of the work carried out. Each Group shows separately on the invoice - the narrative, followed by Labour, Materials and Sub-Contract charged to that group
• Unlimited comments can be recorded for office / yard use
• Detailed instructions for each task can be stored
• A Contact List can be maintained and linked to jobs
• Individual tasks can be commented and marked when complete

Work Schedules

• A printed schedule of work is available, showing exactly what is due be done on a given day, week etc
• Schedules are requested by department
• Detailed instructions can be supplied for each task
• Only outstanding work is shown

• Virtually unlimited log of conversations and general notes about each job
