Why are the icons so small on my toolbar? Why don't any of the toolbar icons respond? Why does the Tutorial panel keep re-appearing? | The icons are larger if the toolbar is moved to the top or bottom of the screen If the mouse has changed into a cross shape, you are in Move Toolbar mode. Click the right mouse-button on the toolbar to leave the toolbar where it is, or the left mouse-button to drop the toolbar near a different side of the screen. You need to switch the Tutorial feature off - Select User Set Up and un-check the Show Tutorial option. |
Why did the Direct Debit program take twice the normal amount for a customer ? Why is there no Invoice icon on my toolbar? Why does the Invoice panel appear empty when I invoice for mooring? | The previous month's instament was probably not processed because of missing bank account details etc. It remains on the customer's account and will be processed when the bank details etc are complete. The Direct Debit statement should pick this up. Your login has a low security level Mooring fees will only be calculated if the Contract on the Client Info panel is selected before clicking the invoice icon. There must also be some un-invoiced fees - the Charge Date indicates the start of a period of un-invoiced fees. |
Why are no contracts showing for a long-term client? How can I delete a contract set up in error? | Perhaps they have been archived. Click on the History Icon on the Client Info panel Deleting a contract moves it the history file. You can delete it from the history file by displaying the historic contract , then deleting it again. |
Why doesn't the Operations panel display my selected boat? Why doesn't the boat show in the berth after a move? If you are in the Boat Movement screen and select the Goto button, the cursor/button/boatname appears normally on A pontoon, regardless of which berth the boat is on. | Boat Arrival will ignore boats that are already in. Internal Movements and Boat Departure will ignore boats that are not in. Internal Movements will also ignore boats without a current contract. In this case give the client a new contract before moving the boat. Make sure that the graphics window is set to show Occupied Berths. Operations may change the settings to show berths that are unassigned to Berth-holders, rather than berths that are unoccupied. To move a boat (arrival for example) follows the below sequence: Click the boat -> click arrival -> click Go to -> The mouse pointer changes shape to a boat and then doing a single click on an empty berth drops the boat on that berth. |
How can I get a print-out of the marina (showing current occupancy) using the graphics tool? Second graphics question | Click on the Preview Icon (2nd from left) on the Graphics Toolbar. The vessel length is coming up at 12.53 when it should be 12.5 and this affects the 12 month berthing costs. I think it happens when you ask M3 to convert feet to meters. Second pricing question | Cost calculations depend on the set up in Program -> Program Set up -> Prices: 1. If PRICE BY SIZE is ticked, the system uses the exact boat length 12.53 to calculate costs. 2. If BAND BY SIZE is ticked and Pricing bands are set up then the system calculates cost based on the bands. 3. If Both is ticked, then the system still uses the exact length to calculate cost. How do I set up template letters so that M3 automatically populates the customer name, boat name fields etc? Second reporting question | When the Write Letter menu option or icon is selected, the user can select any word template.
